Once again this year, the Young Philanthropists of the Jewish General Hospital Foundation are involved in a cause that is dear to their heart and it is with enthusiasm that they invite you to join them in improving markedly the quality of life of thousands of colorectal cancer patients.

This year, they have chosen to take part in the JGH Foundation's new marquee event, the 2016 OneWalk to Conquer Cancer by creating a team « les Amis de la Dre Vuong ». It is with great pride that their team will walk with their captain (Dr. Vuong herself) more than 25 kilometres through the streets of Montreal, including a few kilometres in the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts – since art also does you good!

Dr. Vuong is a leader, an inspiring and committed woman. Chief of the Division of Radiation Oncology at the Jewish General Hospital, she is one of the world's leading authority in the fight against colorectal cancer and its devastating effects on the quality of life and dignity of those affected.

To support their initiative, a festive and elegant fund raising evening (5-7) will be held on June 2, at GalerieTrois Points in downtown Montreal where work by Montreal artist Natalie Reis, whose work is already part of large private and public collections, is exhibited.

The evening is entitled Spring Cocktail of Young Philanthropists of the Jewish General Hospital ( presented by Stikeman Elliott LLP ) and serve in particular to recruit more walkers and raise funds to be applied towards the mission of the Foundation against cancer. Bites (Jessica McCann), wine and beer (Pic Caribou and Microbreweries Gutenberg) will be served. The executive committee of the Young Philanthropists also collected numerous items to be part of an interactive draw! Thoseitems include a Mackage coat, one night at the Hotel Quintessence and gift certificates at trendy places in the Old Port of Montreal.

Because it does not happen only to others, because there is strength in numbers and because even a modest contribution makes a difference, we count on your presence at the Spring Cocktail of Young Philanthropists of the Jewish General Hospital ( presented by Stikeman Elliott LLP ).

You can attend the cocktail with a donation of $ 25 or more by clicking HERE.

A tax receipt will be issued.

Naomi Ananou, Guillaume Boudreau Simard, Martin Jannelle, Benoît Mallette, Raphaèle Graton, Ingrid Anton, Tiffany Lee Bianchy et Gabrielle Bélanger, members of the executive committee of the Young Philanthropists of the Jewish General Hospital Foundation.
