Innovation

Transforming healthcare delivery means continually innovating — equipment, facilities, technology and practices. The current realities have accelerated the need to respond nimbly and effectively — particularly in the convergence of digital technologies with health. And the JGH is leading the way forward.

Today, eligible JGH patients can be monitored remotely by healthcare staff in the comfort of their own homes. Real-time data and predictive software are being used to provide a panoramic view of patient flow throughout the JGH’s healthcare network. Clinicians and end users are being brought together with entrepreneurs and innovators to build and launch medical technologies that improve people’s lives. And the Connected Health Record is being developed to integrate all patient-related information in one place.
